Dr. Lynette Nusbacher, military historian and strategic war process and strategies mastermind, went to the College of Toronto and graduated with a degree in History and Economics. She later joined the Regal Military School of Canada where she earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in History from Oxford College.
The historian has held several influential positions with the British Army and in the London Cabinet Office. She is considered an expert in war processes and strategy.

Dr. Lynette Nusbacher, military historian, was born Areyah Judah Schoen Nusbacher on December 17, 1966, in New York. The historian completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where she graduated with a B.A in History and Economics in 1988. In 1994, Nusbacher graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada with a Masters of Arts degree in War Studies.
After earning her bachelor’s and master’s, Nusbacher attended Oxford where she received her doctorate in Philosophy and European History. The historian also attended several other schools to complete coursework in a variety of discourses.
The Career of Dr. Lynette Nusbacher
Nusbacher began her career as an administrator at the University of Toronto. She held this position from 1988 to 1994, including while she attended Royal Military College. In late 1994, Nusbacher began to work in her desired field. She secured a position with the Canadian Armed Forces as a logistics officer.
The strategist has also held positions such as ‘Head of the Strategy Horizons Unit’ with the Cabinet Office in London and ‘Senior Lecturer of War Strategies’ at the Royal Military Academy. Nusbacher is also the author of two books, War and Conflict and The Battle of Bannockburn 1314. She excels at working multiple jobs at one time and juggling many commitments, seemingly without struggle.
Gender Reassignment Surgery
In 2007, Nusbacher decided to undergo gender reassignment surgery. The decision has somewhat overshadowed her prestigious career, which should not be overlooked.
