From eminent leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Winston Churchill, to sports icons like Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant, there are many names in the list of world-famous bald people. Here is a look at some.
According to a study published in the Journal of Social Psychological and Personality Science in 2012, society sees men with shaved heads as more manly. Participants in the study repeatedly ranked bald men higher for masculinity, strength, dominance, and leadership potential.
What was once considered a sign of aging, has become the new cool. Owing to a fascination for that bald look, many opt to shave their heads, while there are others who do it for a social cause. And then, there are some actors who go bald for the need of their movie roles.
Although hair is still considered as a symbol of beauty, baldness has its own charm. That’s partly because of the element of masculinity attached to it, and also because of its association with many famous people who are bald; some naturally, some by choice.
Here we have enlisted some of the most famous bald people in the world. The list includes sportsmen, actors, musicians, business tycoons, and world leaders, among others. We are so used to seeing them bald, that it’s almost impossible to imagine them otherwise. Take a look.
